Jiangsu Xinyesheng Sculpture Co., Ltd. has completed a large-scale, custom stainless steel sculpture for a U.S. client based in California. The client is an architectural design firm specializing in commercial architecture and public art projects. The piece will serve as the centerpiece of the entrance plaza at a modern commercial complex.
The brief was ambitious: an original, eye-catching form that could anchor an entire arrival space, with a metal finish that stays beautiful outdoors and keeps long-term maintenance low. Our team delivered on all three.
Following the client's design direction, our designers developed an abstract sculpture built from continuous, flowing curves. Ribbon-like forms rise, fold, and extend outward from a rounded base, so the silhouette changes as visitors walk around it. From every angle it reads differently, which makes it an ideal focal point for a public plaza.
Before any metal was cut, our designers refined the concept through detailed 3D modeling. Clients can review proportions and viewing angles in advance and request revisions until the design is exactly right. This is part of the free CAD/3D design service we offer on every custom project.
A mirror finish is easy to see and hard to achieve, especially on sculptural curves. Every weld, seam, and transition on a form like this is exposed to the light. Any imperfection becomes visible as distorted reflections.
Our workshop fabricates, welds, grinds, and polishes each section by hand and by eye, then blends the sections into one seamless surface. The finished sculpture reflects its surroundings with clarity and depth. In our workshop footage, you can see the entire building and the people moving around it mirrored in the steel.
Once installed, the sculpture will do the same with the surrounding architecture, the California sky, and the changing daylight. The artwork keeps shifting through the day, from soft morning light to the glow of sunset, and it connects the sculpture to the building around it.
The client's concerns about durability and upkeep shaped our material and finishing choices. Stainless steel resists rain, sun, and temperature changes, and a polished surface is simple to clean. For a commercial property owner, that means an artwork that keeps its impact for years without costly upkeep. We also provide clear care guidance with every sculpture, so the owner's facilities team knows exactly how to keep the finish looking its best.
With 13 years of experience in sculpture creation, Xinyesheng brings design, production, installation, and after-sales service together in one seamless process. Our R&D and design team has more than a decade of experience, and our works are placed in European public squares, North American campuses, and many other countries across the world.
For architects, developers, and commercial property owners, that experience offers real advantages:
Whether you are designing a hotel entrance, corporate headquarters, retail center, or public plaza, a well-made sculpture can define the character of your space. See more of our work in our Space Gallery, learn about our production process, or contact our team to start discussing your concept.
