Painted Hollow-Out Tree of Life Stainless Steel Sculpture

Building on the abstract tree-of-life concept, this sculpture introduces a deliberate color treatment, finishing the matte white 304/316 stainless steel trunk structure with gradient orange-red hollow-cut perforated buds positioned at the tips of each upward-reaching branch. Producing a smooth color gradient across hollow-cut perforated bud sections requires the fluorocarbon coating to be applied in carefully controlled, blended passes that transition gradually from white through orange to red across each individual bud, a more complex finishing process than the single-tone treatment used on the purely white tree-of-life companion piece, after which the perforated pattern within each bud is cut to allow both light and air to pass through the colored sections.

The three flowing, intertwined trunks branch outward and upward much as in the related design, but the addition of delicately perforated, color-graded buds at the branch tips introduces a strong seasonal, flowering quality entirely absent from the plain white version, with the warm color gradient suggesting blossoms in the process of opening rather than simple bare branch tips. This flowering imagery reinforces themes of renewal, fresh growth, and flourishing vitality considerably more explicitly than the abstract white tree form alone. Interior lighting embedded within the colored buds produces a particularly warm, inviting glow after dark that differs noticeably in character from the cooler white glow of the related all-white design. Offered with total height from 2.6 to 9 meters, the structure scales effectively across a wide range of landscape settings.
